Miles Gregory

Miles was born in Wellington, and read Modern History at Durham University, before studying for his Master of Fine Arts in Staging Shakespeare at Exeter University. He holds a PhD in contemporary Shakespeare performance from Bristol University. He spent five years as the Artistic Director of the British Touring Shakespeare Company and four years as the Artistic Director of the Bristol Shakespeare Festival, before working as Regional Producer for Shakespeare's Globe London. Miles was appointed in 2008 as Chief Executive and Artistic Director of The Maltings Theatre, Berwick-upon-Tweed, where he served for three and a half years. He is currently a visiting lecturer on the MA Arts Management course at Whitecliffe School of Art, Auckland.
