A late developer, Jerry’s involvement with theatre began in 2009 in the wonderful Irish play, Shining City, and he has since been lucky enough to play a defrocked priest, an aristocratic misogynist and a budgie-crushing crim who nailed a man to the floor, amongst others. He has been a frequent visitor to Ellerslie Theatre as a consumer, to help with front of house, and in a tiny role in Travels With My Aunt in 2012, and says it’s been a real pleasure every time. He is also on the committee of Mairangi Players on the North Shore. |
