In October 1998, Matthew Shepard, a twenty-one year old student was severly beaten and left to die - tied to a fence in Laramie, Wyoming, simply because he was gay. The Laramie Project is a breathtaking theatrical collage, exploring the human capacity to reach great heights of compassion and severe lows of hatred.
