Daryl (Dazza) has had a thespian addiction since he oozed out of the womb 21 years ago always twiddling his fingers in, many a tantalising theatrical treat, everything from performing to writing and directing. He is well known for his unique character comedy, performing in scores of festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe, and the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, winning the Best Newcomer award in 2006. In January this year he was gifted the chance to be apart of the Auckland Theatre Company’s production of Shrewd. Currently he is the Performing Arts Director for the Art Centres for the Manukau City Council. Dazza first fell in lust with Cuckoos nest as a young truancy terror in school. He hopes everybody will get fixated on it and leave with a marinated mind. When not performing he enjoys the Sun, beer and questioning the world. He is also currently one exam away from being a massage therapist. |
