Bronwen Arlington’s first plays at Ellerslie were The Killing of Sister George and Rehearsal for Murder. At other theatres she has done Murder in Company, Dead Man’s Hand and Rough Justice. Is there a theme here? In 2018, she was ‘The Lady in the Van’, directed by David Blakey, who wrote Suspicious. It’s a privilege working with the playwright – and handy for the “I don’t understand” queries. Corny but true, she is delighted to be back in her local theatre (thanks Merrin, David, Barrie and the new talent). |
