A friend encouraged Raj to get on stage in 2013. Despite having no formal training, he still manages to get excellent reviews for his performances. He has been a part of the “Short+Sweet” Theatre and a regular with the Indian theatre group Prayas. His performances include Charandas Chor, A Fine Balance, and an Ellerslie One Act play in 2017. Raj is motivated, committed, disciplined and, most importantly, always in “student” mode. Indian born and a proud Kiwi, he represents minority Kiwis exceptionally well on the theatre and film canvas. |
