Born in Iran, Ferooz has had a rich and varied theatrical life, including being TV presenter for the British Council’s English Language programme. Through the mid/late1980s, he taught acting at the Auckland Youth Theatre, what is now the Basement Theatre. He is a member of the Marvellous Theatre Group, based at TAPAC. Ferooz seems to get his acting parts through phone calls out of the blue. He got a bit part in an episode of Gloss, then a 12-minute film, Stealing Home, both through a phone call. And now The House of Angels, out of the blue! |
