Lisa Fothergill’s passion for acting came from a primal need to be the centre of attention, channelled effectively through children’s theatre at Pakuranga Community Centre. As an adult, appearances include Auckland University’s Summer Shakespeare production of Much Ado About Nothing as Margaret, Titirangi Theatre’s all-female production of Measure for Measure as Lucio, and two solos in original musicals at Auckland Music Theatre. For the past few years she has been focusing more on her career behind the scenes, as a documentary production manager, but she still likes to tread the boards once in a while. |
