THE PRIVATE WAR OF CORPORAL COOPER
Following graduation from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art in 1996, Ruth worked with Whakarite Theatre Company, performing for schools throughout Canterbury and the West Coast, before moving to Auckland. Over the past 18 years she has performed with Titirangi, Company, Mairangi and Ellerslie theatre groups. She’s thrilled to be working with Jocelyn again, having been directed by her on several occasions over the last 15 years.
CHOOK CHOOK
Ruth has played many interesting roles over the years including a tuatara and Frankenstein, so why not add a chicken (not to mention a feisty one) to her repertoire! Ruth has previously performed with Chrissy in A Touch of Danger (Mairangi Players, 2005) and under her direction in Where There’s a Will (ETS, 2009). She says it’s great to be on stage once more with fellow chooks, Julia and Rochelle, and she has enjoyed working with Chrissy again. |
