Janine Service made her debut at Ellerslie Theatrical Society in 2006 after a 10 year break from the boards. Her portrayal as Nance in Female Transport earned an ACTT accolade for Best Sup-porting Actress. In 2008 Janine worked behind the scenes at ETS for The Laramie Project and is pleased to be heading back on stage this year. Previous stomping grounds include Howick Little Theatre and Operatic Society where she studied and taught theatre craft, as well as performing in Hi de Hi, High Society, Aladdin, Dick Wittington and Divorce Me Darling. Janine has also ap-peared on the Big Screen as Hockey Bully in the movie adaptation of Tessa Dudars 'Alex'. According to her dad, Janine has been performing since the moment she was born and she also entertains audiences in her professional life as a Development Specialist for Vodafone. |
