Alison’s fledgling acting career stalled abruptly in front of an audience of four at the Avignon Fringe Festival in 1989. Returning only recently to the stage during a short spell living on Waiheke Island, she appeared in various local productions and even had a stab at stand-up comedy. In 2014, she had two small roles in the Dolphin Theatre’s wonderful production of 'That Woman' and is delighted to have been given the opportunity to join the cast of Social Climbers. This is her first production with Ellerslie Theatrical Society … and hopefully not her last!
