Rochelle Cowie

This is the first time Rochelle has acted at Ellerslie, but she has previously ben in productions at Dolphin (That Woman), Titirangi and Waitarua.

She has tried several times to be in one of Sian’s plays and has now succeeded. She is pleased to have a part with a Kiwi accent, instead of having to do “foreigners” and says it has been great working with the other ladies.

Rochelle Cowie has participated in community theatre throughout Auckland over the years but always loves coming back to be part of Ellerslie festival of one-act plays. (She says Ellerslie is one of her favourites.) In our 2017 One Act Play Festival, she played a chicken in Chook Chook, so this time she is taking a big step up to play a real person! Rochelle says, “It’s been a great joy to work with a fun and incredible team.”
