Angela Reading

Angela was born in London in 1944; she studied drama with Ruth Conti at The Italia Conti Stage School 1950-58 then played at Unity Theatre St Pancras, in The Life of Kaggs, directed by Derek Goldby. She arrived in Auckland in 1974 and performed at The New Independent Theatre as Linda in Enter a Free Man. She was in The Homecoming by Harold Pinter at Howick Little Theatre, directed by Roy Bonnell, and received the cup. She is a founder member of Marvellous Theatre Group, now in its sixth year and established by ATC, starting with The Waste Land directed by Michael Hurst.
