Lesley has been passionate about theatre since the age of ten when she trod the boards in her first public performance. After attending Drama College in England, she came to New Zealand and has acted in professional theatre, television, broadcasting and film, and more recently added directing to her achievements. These experiences have given her the opportunity to play over a hundred varied roles including some wonderful characters such as Hilary in The Woman who Cooked her Husband, Joy Gresham in Shadowlands and Evelyn in Kindertransport. Last seen at Ellerslie as Joanna in Disposing of the Body, Lesley is delighted to be back playing Eleanor, one of the most powerful and rewarding parts an actress could have.
