When Patricia read the script for Extremities she was in two minds about auditioning. She wanted the role of Marjorie as she felt this was a role and story she wanted to be a part of telling. On the other hand she wasn’t sure if she had the emotional stamina. She came to realize that there are many women who can relate to Marjorie including herself. For this reason alone she is proud to be involved. Patricia started appearing in film and television in 2000 as an extra. After completing Levels I and II acting classes with Studio 111 over two years she enrolled with the Pacific Institute of Performing Arts where she obtained a Diploma in Pacific Performing Arts - Drama, Theatre, and Pacific Dance. In 2009 she started working on the stage and appeared in Titirangi Theatre Company’s production of The Bellbird which was directed by Janelle Bish. Patricia has taken part in the Short and Sweet Festival and the RETHiNK’s 24hr Theatre Challenge. Last year she took part in the National Championships for the Performing Arts Aim to Fame in Los Angeles where she obtained a Gold in Drama Acting.
