Ciarin graduated from Unitec's school of performing arts in 2010, majoring in acting. In his final year, he performed in 'Much Ado About Nothing' as Claudio, 'Pentecost' as a variety of characters (speaking almost entirely in German, Bulgarian and Polish which was a lot of fun), Auckland Theatre Company's 'Romeo and Juliet' as Abram, and also understudied their season of 'Cabaret'.
Since graduating, Ciarin has performed in Wellington in the new kiwi play 'The Idea of America' as Marty, played a small role on Spartacus Season 2 and dabbled in performance poetry in the LIVE season of 'Taste Me'. Ciarin has just finished performing Othello with Peach Theatre Company, playing Roderigo, and he is loving the change of pace that 'Straight' has provided. He hopes you enjoy the show!
