Andrew Gordon

This is Andrew’s second appearance on the Stables stage with the Ellerslie Theatrical Society, having previously appeared as Stuart Dakin in The History Boys. Other productions include Charlie’s Aunt and 84 Charing Cross Road with Pilgrim Productions, Twelfth Night and Measure for Measure with Breaking Legs Productions and Kevin's Bed with Howick Little Theatre. Andrew was an ACTT 2009 award nominee for Best Male in a Supporting Role as William Humphries in 84 Charing Cross Road and an ACTT 2010 award nominee for Best Male Lead as Dakin in The History Boys. When not performing or rehearsing, Andrew is a Music Administrator and Supervisor at a local high school.

This is Andrew’s third appearance at ETS, after The History Boys (2010 – also by Alan Bennett) and Present Laughter (2014 – directed by David Blakey). He has appeared onstage all over Auckland in amateur and professional capacity and in numerous TV commercials and short films. He has also directed The Legacy (2015), The Operative (2016) and The House by the Lake (2018).
