John Edwards

When not treading the boards, John Edwards works full-time as a customs broker for a freight and logistics company.

Playing in 'Roleplay' marks his debut in both the AMI Ellerslie One Act Play Festival and the Stables Theatre itself. He most recently played PFC Louden Downey in 'A Few Good Men' at the Dolphin Theatre after a brief spell from theatre. In 2008, he played Oswald Alving for 'Ghosts' at Mairangi Players and the First Juror in 'Twelve Angry Men' over at Howick Little Theatre. Before that, he cut his teeth in a university production of 'Titus Andronicus' and school productions of 'The Caucasian Chalk Circle' and 'Cabaret'.

John is also a self-professed martial arts "nerd", having gathered a decent knowledge in taekwondo and a smattering of other styles here and there.
