Suzann is a graduate of the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art in Christchurch. Originally from Auckland, she began her stage career in Hong Kong, playing Babe Botrelle in Beth Henley's 'Crimes of the Heart' and continued performing with the American Community Theatre and the Hong Kong Players. After returning to NZ in the mid-1990s she co-founded the Unreal Theatre Company, which presented several shows at the Silo and Herald Theatres in Auckland - including 'Kindertransport' by Diane Samuels and 'Te Maunga' by Albert Belz. The last time Suzann performed Shakespeare was back in Hong Kong, in Agitprop Theatre's female cast adaptation of Charles Marowitz’s adaptation of the Scottish Play.

Motherhood and family have kept Suzann off the stage for over a decade now, but she's thrilled to be back, meeting lovely people, and treading the boards with the master of playwrights – William Shakespeare, in ‘The Winter's Tale’.
